Kalparoni (Kalpana’s macaroni & mixed vegetables)

 

2 cups              egg noodles

1 teaspoon        mithu (salt)

1 tablespoon      butter

 

4 tablespoon      tel (oil)

1                      kaando (onion), chopped

10 oz package   frozen mixed vegetables

½ teaspoon       ajmo

 

½ teaspoon       mithu (salt)

½ teaspoon       sounth (powdered ginger)

½ teaspoon       garam masaalaa

1 teaspoon        dhaanaa jiru

¼ teaspoon       hardar (turmeric)

1 teaspoon        saaker (sugar)

1 tablespoon      limbu (lemon juice)

 

1.                   Boil noodles with salt and butter. 

2.                   Drain.

3.                   Heat oil in a non-stick pan, adding onions,  mixed vegetables and ajmo.

4.                   Stir for a bit.

5.                   Add salt, ginger, garam masaalaa, dhaanaa jiru, turmeric, sugar & lemon juice. Mix well & remove from heat.
