Aadu-wali chaa (Ginger tea)

 

2 cups              water

1 ½”                 ginger root

2                      tea bags

1 cup                milk

3 teaspoons      sugar

 

1.                  Bring the water to a boil

2.                  Peel and cube the ginger root

3.                  Add to the boiling water & wait for 2 minutes

4.                  Add the tea bags & wait for 2 minutes

5.                  Add the milk.  Bring to boil.  Watch the pot carefully, as boiled milk will overflow.

6.                  Remove from heat & wait for 2 minutes

7.                  Stir in the sugar.
