Vaghaareli Chhaash - Spiced salty lassi

 

1 cup                yogurt

1 cup                water

½ teaspoon      salt

½ teaspoon      cumin powder

 

1 teaspoon       oil

¼ teaspoon      cumin seeds

¼ teaspoon      mustard seeds

some                chopped cilantro (optional)

 

1.                  Blend the yogurt, water, salt and cumin powder

2.                  Heat the oil, adding the cumin and mustard seeds

3.                  When the seeds start to crackle, add the cilantro.

4.                  Remove from heat & pour into the blended mix.

5.                  Stir and serve immediately.
