Vaghaarelaa Marchaa (Sauteed hot peppers)

 

2 tablespoon      tel (oil)

½ teaspoon       rai (mustard seeds)

1/8 teaspoon     hing (asafetida)

 

8-10                  hot green peppers, sliced (jalapeno)

¼ teaspoon       mithu (salt)

 

1.                   Heat oil.

2.                   Add the mustard seeds and asafetida. Wait until the seeds begin crackling.

3.                   Add the peppers and cook for a bit

4.                   Add the salt.  Cook a bit longer, but don’t let the peppers lose their crunch.
